Any idea what hash type Electrum wallets use? I think my password is close but I keep getting invalid hash errors.

My wallet's from 2014 and I'm pretty sure I used a simple dictionary word. Brute force isn't working - anyone have suggestions for other attack methods?

I can see my BTC balance but can't remember the passphrase. Is there any way to bypass or reset this without the seed phrase?

I suggest looking through any old emails or documents where you may have mentioned or written down your wallet address. Sometimes we leave clues for ourselves without even realizing it!

If you have used the wallet address for any transactions in the past, you can try to search through your transaction history on exchanges or block explorers. Sometimes seeing where you've sent or received funds can jog your memory about the address.

Hello, I recently came across a wallet with a hash starting with "0x", and I'm curious about the encryption type used for this wallet. Can anyone provide information on the encryption method typically associated with such a hash prefix? Thank you.
